The fourteen compositions on this album, together clocking well over 70 minutes, are all very solid productions, well thought over and with a lot of fine tuned feeling for detail [..] Here you hear the musician, coming up with all the right tones, timbres and arrangements to express his deepest inner emotions. [..] The supportive effects, especially in the percussion are highly original and from the moment the listener hears the footsteps leading to the 'gates', subsequently being opened, he or she is soon under the spell of the 'reality' of some genuine high classed Electronic Music. It has well been worth the wait and this album is very welcome for a position in my top ten list of albums over 2008!

This makes The Gates of Reality into an outstanding album. It is hard to choose a favorite song [..] The sound may remind you of Enigma or perhaps Era or Amethystium, but Australis has a personal touch on all songs. [..]
